Virtual Form of Payment is a payment option that allows for the creation of a new hotel segment using a virtual credit card number (as a guarantee or deposit). This virtual number is generated through our Payment Hub, called Conferma, during the hotel reservation process.

This process returns a Deployment ID that gets stored in the PNR, and contains the virtual form of payment information. Apart from the communication of payment details in the hotel sell process, an additional service is used by our Payment Hub to support the transmission of the Payment Confirmation document to the hotel property.

You can use UpdateReservationRQ to verify the status of the confirmation, or generate a new request to our Payment Hub to resend a Payment Confirmation document.
