Validating carrier logic is aligned across Shopping, Pricing, Ticketing, and Exchanges for consistent application to return “ticketable” options. The changes in this enhancement include improvements in how the validating carrier is selected, expanded abilities for a carrier to designate a General Sales Agent (GSA) for ticketing within a settlement plan by country, new trailer messages, and improved Interline Agreement displays.

Validations performed for itinerary options to be returned are:

• The selected validating carrier participates in the ticket issuance settlement plan, such as ARC or BSP.
• The validating carrier allows for the ticket to be issued with all marketing and operating carriers for the itinerary segment being fulfilled; interline agreements.
