The post-booking Modify Car Reservation API enables Sabre to retrieve, cancel, or modify bookings made previously by car suppliers connected to a car supplier API.

Returned data is combined with other types of information, including car policy information, and returned in corresponding requests to travel agencies and others using car distribution APIs. Various stages of the post-booking workflow are supported, allowing for a complete car booking management process through Sabre.

Car suppliers may use the Modify Car Reservation API for their post-booking needs (or work with a third party) integrating their response for the post-booking stage of the workflow alongside existing car shopping, location, and policy data. Connectivity is established and hosted via an SSG connection that provides configuration for supplier endpoints and handles transaction maximums etc. across different environments.
