Migrate Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit to 64-bit
With Windows moving away from supporting 32-bit version and Sabre Red 360 word leaning towards 64-bit versions of applications as well we decided to join the movement and start supporting only 64-bit version of Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit.
What it means to you?
To continue development on the newest version of Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit you need to migrate to 64-bit version. The migration process is similar to one with upgrading to a new version of Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit you may already know.
How to migrate
To migrate to new version you need JDK 8 64-bit and the latest 64-bit version of the Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit. You can download both from Red App Developer Resources.
To accomplish migration you need to complete below steps:

Download and extract 64-bit version of Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit into you local drive - check Extracting the Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit.

Create new target platform using extracted 64-bit Sabre Red 360 Software Development Kit - you can find detailed instruction in Create Target Platform.

Create new run configuration in Eclipse for created target platform or modify existing one.

For updating existing one follow Updating existing run configuration.

Upgrade to a new version of the Development Tools according to the Upgrading to a New Version of the Development Tools article.
Updating existing run configuration
In order to update existing run configuration you need to:

Add downloaded 64-bit JDK 8 as Runtime JRE according to Setting Runtime JRE article.

Refresh plug-ins selected in Plug-ins tab by following Upgrading Your Red App Run Configuration.
