Whenever a paid seat is selected by a Passenger, the correct Air Extra (AE) is created in the reservation. Each Passenger needs to pay for a seat before check-in process. The /dcci/pay service can be used for that.

AE created for paid seat contains the same price as the seat chosen by the Passenger. Even if the price has been personalized using Dynamic Retailer entitlements, it is the same because of OfferID feature. It allows to determine entitlement/discount rules when creating AE.

When consuming Digital Connect Check-In portfolio, SeatMap OfferId funtionality is not visible and the customer experience is not affected at all.
