However, if the passenger is traveling with a seat infant, SSCI assigns different unique identifiers for each. In such case, PassengerBoardingClearanceRequestRQ must be called separately for the passenger and the seat infant.
  • The service shall be consumed to get the boarding clearance for a single passenger only. And will not support multiple passengers in single request.
  • For the passenger travelling with infant, the request for both adult and infant shall be made using a single request.

Why use it?

Some Government Agencies prefer to perform a pre-boarding validation for the passengers by collecting passenger details in advance to determine the eligibility of the passenger to arrive/depart from their country. SabreSonic Check-in will determine whether to allow check-in, bag tag issuance, and boarding of a passenger based on the clearance response received from the applicable government agencies.

Airport Check-In (ACI) PassengerBoardingClearanceRequest service will facilitate the option

  • To get the boarding clearance status for the passenger.
  • To cancel the government boarding clearance status associated previously for the passenger.

  • Taiwan The agent will need to specify the two-letter country code for which the request needs be performed. Two countries’ iAPI can be requested in one single call.

Request for Documents Verification (DOCV) This facilitates adding or cancelling the travel documentation verification for the passenger. This may trigger calls internally to the following, depending on the flight and the passenger’s itinerary.
