Digital Connect Check-In introduces new features and enhancements in the following areas:

  • Improvement of Updating Passenger Weight Category​​​​

The following Digital Connect Check-In defects have been fixed for this release.

  • B6 - CERT - DCCI - Same Day Check-in Failure CASE ID 07010236

  • [ETCI] : SSCI has Implemented Priority Boarding with 0G6 RFISC Under TS Group Code. But DCCI is Unable to Send the Text to DXCI

  • WS - PROD - Digital Connect: Check in - Check in - DCCI Baggage Call Error - Case ID 06979471

  • G3 AIQ Different Fee Being Displayed on Selection Screen and Shopping Cart/Selected Screen

The following sections explain more details about the new items.

 

Improvement of Updating Passenger Weight Category

Until now, when a passenger was adding the weight category, it was added only to the first segment open for check-in. Now, the new processing is using implementation based on segment groups. It enables a passenger to update weight category for all segment groups instead of updating it only for the first hosted segment.

B6 - CERT - DCCI - Same Day Check-in Failure CASE ID 07010236

Description:

 In /passenger/checkin service, the validator always blocks the check-in when the first hosted segment is marked as not eligible for check-in.

Resolution:

If check-in is requested for specific segments, then the validation is changed to look at eligibilities of the first requested segment instead of the first hosted segment.

Description:

DCCI BPXML boarding passes did not contain information about the priority text despite receiving it in SSCI RS.

Resolution:

Now, DCCI BPXML boarding passes contains information about the priority text returned in SSCI RS.

Description:

Due to additional whitespace in infant SSR, the infant passenger was not returned properly in the reservation.

Resolution:

Now, DCCI trims the additional whitespace while matching the infant passenger with adult in /passenger/details service.

G3 AIQ Different Fee Being Displayed on Selection Screen and Shopping Cart/Selected Screen

Description:

Prices are grouped by base price and deal. When there is no deal, prices with same base are incorrectly merged.

Resolution:

Populate Deal when seat offer comes from QPX and ESM does not return deal information.
