Features

Digital Connect Check-In introduces new features and enhancements in the following areas:

  • Redress Parser Improvement
  • Support Offers in / seats/ seatmap for Segments Marketed by OA 
  • Improvement of baggage/ book Service to Update Baggage Weight 
  • Remove Offloaded Passenger from Priority List (PALL List)
  • Improve Price Baggage to Maintain the Order of Returned Baggage Charges

The following Digital Connect Check-In defects have been fixed for this release.

Redress Parser Improvement 

Earlier, Digital Connect Check-In supported only the redress document format without a date. 

Now, Digital Connect Check-In handles redress documents with the date information and recognizes "/R/CAN241411//12DEC20/IN" as a valid format for a redress document.

Support Offers in / seats/ seatmap for Segments Marketed by OA 

Digital Connect Check-In supports offers in /seats/seatmap for segments marketed by OA.

Improvement of baggage/ book Service to Update Baggage Weight 

When the weight of the checked baggage changes, Digital Connect Check-In calls CKI to update the bag weight even when the AE data/ charges have not changed.

Remove Offloaded Passenger from Priority List (PALL List) 

When a passenger gets offloaded, Digital Connect Check-In will remove the passenger from the Priority (PALL) list, if the removal has been requested.

Improve Price Baggage to Maintain the Order of Returned Baggage Charges 

Digital Connect Check-In has improved the PriceBaggage service, to maintain the order of the returned baggage charges. Now, Digital Connect Check-In returns the baggage charges in the following order: first required charges, then the prepaid charges.

Description:

Digital Connect Check-In POST /passenger/details did not return boarding pass for passenger in multi-leg segment scenario when the passenger had different seats on parts of the multi-leg segment. Instead, Digital Connect Check-In returned warning:  BOARDING_PASS_INCOMPLETE.

Resolution:

Now, when the passenger has different seats on parts of multi-leg segment, Digital Connect Check-In service POST /passenger/details returns boarding pass for the passenger.
