Enhancements

Digital Connect introduces the following enhancements:

Enhancements

BNPL duplicate PNR enhancement

Digital Connect introduces an enhancement that resolves a Book Now Pay Later flow issue. If an error occurred during the first purchase call (e.g. in the case of an expired credit card), a duplicate PNR has been created in the second purchase call instead of using the existing PNR. The reason behind this was the occurrence of a clearBnplInfo call upon receiving an error in the purchase flow. The issue has been resolved by removing the incorrect call.

The enhancement applies to the MYB:BNPL flow.

Support for Multi Airport City

Digital Connect introduces the support to handle exchanges for airports located in the same city/area. Before its introduction, exchanges between multiple airports in the same city were treated as multi-city, blocking the possibility for online exchange. The enhancement allows treating such PNRs as RT instead of multi-city when entering the exchange flow. Digital Connect uses the current configuration to determine which airports belong to the same city/area, and a fallback option is introduced when multi-city is detected at PNR retrieval. An additional configuration is introduced to determine if airports share the same City Code. If the service returns that each airport belongs to the same city, Digital Connect will assume a round trip itinerary and allow to continue with the exchange flow. If the airports do not belong to the same city/area, Digital Connect will assume handling a multi-city itinerary.

The enhancement applies to the Exchange flow (MYB:CI), (pnr/exchange/products/air/search)

Prerequisites

• The airports' list must be set up correctly (cities must include the correct list of sister airports)
• A configuration property must be enabled for the airline willing to use this enhancement.

Support for No Equivalent Fare value scenario

Digital Connect introduces an enhancement that allows airlines to offer multiple post-booking options including exchanges (both voluntary and involuntary), trip options management and refund to their passengers. The enhancement enables to perform a second exchange in cases when the equivalent fare currency is different from the base currency as opposed to a zero amount being returned in the downline response.

The enhancement applies to the Exchange flow.
