Description |
EPR |
Acronym for Employee Profile Record. Each user of PSS is provided with a unique ID that, when combined with a user-defined password, grants access to the system. The EPR also includes security access indicators, including cities permitted for sign in, duty codes, and application keywords. |
PNR |
Acronym for Passenger Name Record. A file record in TPF used to store passenger-specific information related to travel itinerary, payment, and other related information. The fundamental record in a reservation system containing the information. |
PSS |
Acronym for Passenger Service System. This is the part of Sabre that handles Sabre Subscriber creation of PNRs, allows the booking of airline flights, car rentals and hotel nights, as well as providing airline prices and tickets, and other travel retail related products. |
SSCI |
Acronym for SabreSonic Check-In |
XML |
Acronym for Extensible Markup Language. A specification developed by the W3C. XML is a pared-down version of SGML, designed specifically for Web documents. |
WSDL |
Acronym for Web Services Definition. WSDL uses a common format to describe and publish the formats, operations, and protocols of a Web service. WSDL elements describe data using one or more XML schemas. These schemas are passed to the Web service. The description of the data tells the receiver how to process the data, and the binding to a protocol or transport instructs the sender how to send the data. Both parties must have access to the same XML schema. WSDL is usually used with SOAP |

Advance Passenger Processing. APP messages interactively collect and convey passenger information to several governments (Australia, Bahrain, Kuwait, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates) to obtain advice on the eligibility of passengers traveling to the country. |
DHS |
US Department of Homeland Security. DHS messages provide customer and flight information to the DHS for security screening purposes for US domestic flights, international to international flights on a US flag carrier, and flights crossing the US border. |
GOV |
Korean Interactive Advance Passenger Processing Ad hoc vetting request. The GOV messages provide customer and flight information to the Korean Immigration Services (KIS) for security screening purposes for flights departing Korea. |
STO |
Allow to send an override request when the original iAPP ad hoc request returned an Error, or a “Not Cleared” status. |
TIM |
Timatic messages interactively indicate whether the passenger’s travel documents met minimal travel document requirements based on itinerary and nationality. |
